Walker was born June 26 1976 at Philadelphia Pennsylvania United States of America. Walker is of African-American descent and holds the American passport. She is the daughter of Harvey Welker, a Native American father as well as Julie Welker, an African American Mother. Her mother works as a real estate agent while her father works as an engineer. She attended the Germantown Friends School in the city of Germantown in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood, in the year 1994. In 1998, she earned the bachelor's degree from Harvard College. Welker is married to John Hughes a well-known marketing director at Merck located in Philadelphia and they have two children. The couple began a relationship during 2014, when they were together. John his husband, John's father is a year older than him. The couple decided to move their relationship ahead since things were going smoothly. In March of 2017, they tied the knot. Philadelphia Pennsylvania hosted their wedding. At the Hyatt The Hyatt, they had the wedding of a lifetime. To the wedding, only closest relatives and friends were invited. About 300 guests were in attendance.
