Sheryl is an American actor, comedian, television host and is most well-known for hosting The Talk, a popular chat show on daytime. The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has an extended family with many issues. She spent the majority of her youth taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. As a child, her relationships with her mother were rocky. Sheryl asserts that, in an instance when her mother stabbed her father after he became intimate with her. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Her passion for the military was comedy. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV career after becoming frequently performing on The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. In 2000 she appeared as host of the T.V. show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began appearing as a co-host on the talk show The Talk. In addition, she has appeared as the fictional character in TV shows such as Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
