Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton, born Jan. 19, 1946, in Locust Ridge Tenn. to 12 hungry kids who would grow with them eventually. She learned early how to get out of the difficulties she faced through her vibrant and vibrant imagination. Her songs were written before she was able to write or read. After getting her first guitar at age 8, she started to perform on local radio stations from Knoxville in Tennessee. The same year she released her first recording on Gold Band Records a tiny independent label. Even though she was still in school, she had already established herself within the local arena. However, her goal was to be able to perform at a much larger size. On the 14th of March, 1964, following her graduation from high-school the singer moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde (both 1967) as well as Something Fishy were among her first Monument Records chart-topping records. Porter Wagoner, a syndicated television show host at the time was searching for a female singer on his show. Parton joined Grand Ole Opry 1969 after contracting with RCA Records. In 1974, she quit Wagoner's show due to the commercial success of her own songs such as Joshua Coats from Many Colors or Jolene was surpassing their joint albums. Following their breakup, Parton wrote the song I Will Always Love You for Wagoner and it debuted at the top spot at No. The first time in 1974.
