Paula Patton is an actress and producer who is best known for her leading roles in the action spy movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the dramatic film Precious. She was born into an upper middle-class family living in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. Her mom was a film buff and inculcated a love for film in her young daughter and also. Paula enjoyed participating in school co-curricular activities, and drama was her favorite. Paula enjoyed acting with her friends, and she participated in school stage performances. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School gave her many chances to perform during her high school years and she decided to pursue acting to pursue a career. She was enrolled in at the University of Southern California's summer camp, and loved the experience to death. The program was awarded to her by PBS to produce documentaries over the course of three months. Once she had completed the task with success, she began working as an assistant for television documentary production. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. While she was happy with her work however, she longed for becoming an actress. She began her journey into acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star for the love story Hitch. Over the past few years she's been in a variety of productions and films.
