Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. The modeling career she began with was in Italy which is where she was raised and was born in California. Her first role as an actor was in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. It took some time to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller role. She struggled with the transition to acting because actors were never considered skilled actors and usually got small parts. Amy did not give up and she eventually landed larger roles in films Varsity Blues and The 70s. In 2005, she was cast part in the leading role of the romance comedy Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized by the industry for her performance over the past 10 years. Amy went on to appear in major films such as the Crank Series with Jason Statham, and Shameless.
